1. Eligibility for Return

A product may be eligible for return or replacement if:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or faulty.
  • The product received is different from the product ordered.
  • The product is missing any essential part or item mentioned in the product description.
  • The product received is materially different from its description on our website.

The product must generally be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags, labels, accessories, invoices, and other accompanying materials intact.

2. Return Request Period

Customers should contact ParakhBazar within 7 days of receiving the order to request a return or replacement.

To process a return request, customers may be required to provide:

  • Order number
  • Product details
  • Reason for return
  • Photographs or video showing the damage, defect, wrong product, or packaging condition
  • Proof of purchase, where applicable

Requests submitted after the applicable return period may not be accepted.

3. Products That Cannot Be Returned

For reasons of hygiene, safety, and product integrity, certain products may not be eligible for return once delivered, including:

  • Food supplements and consumable products
  • Ayurvedic and herbal consumable products
  • Beauty and personal-care products that have been opened or used
  • Products with broken or damaged safety seals
  • Products specifically marked as Non-Returnable on the product page
  • Products damaged after delivery due to improper use, storage, or handling by the customer

Any applicable product-specific return conditions displayed on the product page will also apply.

4. Saree & Clothing Returns

For sarees and other clothing products:

  • The product should be unused and unworn.
  • All original tags, packaging, and accessories should be retained.
  • Sarees should not have stains, perfume/odour, washing marks, alterations, or other signs of use.
  • Minor variations in colour, texture, weaving, printing, or design may occur due to lighting, photography, screen settings, or the nature of cotton/handloom products. Such normal variations may not qualify as defects.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We may request photographs or an unboxing video to verify the issue. After verification, ParakhBazar may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law and product availability:

  • Replace the product;
  • Provide another appropriate resolution; or
  • Issue a refund.

6. Return Shipping

If the return is due to an error on the part of ParakhBazar, such as a wrong, defective, or damaged product, we may arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs, subject to verification.

For returns requested for reasons other than an error, defect, damage, or incorrect product, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer where permitted by applicable law and the applicable product-specific policy.

7. Refund Policy

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, the applicable refund amount will be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method, as applicable.

The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.

8. Refund for Cancelled Orders

If an order is cancelled before dispatch and the cancellation is accepted, any eligible prepaid amount may be refunded through the original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible and the customer may need to follow the applicable return procedure.

9. Exchange / Replacement

Where a replacement or exchange is approved, it will be subject to product availability.

If the same product is unavailable, ParakhBazar may offer an alternative resolution, including a refund where applicable.

10. Order Received in Damaged Condition

Customers are encouraged to inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the package appears seriously damaged or tampered with, customers should, where possible, document the condition and contact ParakhBazar as soon as possible.

11. Non-Returnable Situations

A return or refund may be refused where:

  • The product has been used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer.
  • The original packaging, tags, labels, or accessories are missing.
  • The product has been damaged because of improper handling, storage, or use.
  • The return request is made after the applicable return period.
  • The product is specifically identified as non-returnable.
  • The product is returned without the required order or purchase information.

This does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. Refund Processing

Refunds will generally be initiated after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.

The actual time for the refunded amount to be credited may depend on the customer’s bank, payment provider, payment gateway, or other financial institution. ParakhBazar cannot be responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banks.
